Meltdown Station Offers a Solution to Beat Childhood Obesity

January 09
11:32 2020
Meltdown Station’s award-winning fitness programs could be the solution for the whopping 13 million American children that are obese, and millions more are about to join their ranks. By 2025, according to a report in Pediatric Obesity, the nation will house 17 million obese kids.

MIAMI – January 9th, 2020 – With the childhood obesity epidemic finally at the front line, The office of the Surgeon General stated that “obese youth are more likely than youth of normal weight to become overweight or obese adults, and therefore more at risk for associated adult health problems, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, several types of cancer, osteoarthritis and low life expectancy.” It’s not going to get any better until parents get the help they need. Curriculums at school have changed, fast food is all around us and children stay indoors playing video games. What can we do about it?

Well, there’s good news! There’s only one company, Meltdown Station/Superfit Kids Inc. – based in South Florida, that’s doing something about it and noticed this problem years ago. Several years ago, Ivette Cortiella had successfully transformed in her physical location hundreds of kids and changed many lives. She now has built a full fitness “Mobile Gym” designed and made just for kids/teens.  She specially designed a structured program with interactive 3D virtual video games, hydraulic equipment, her award winning cardio program and nutrition classes where kids will lose weight, learn and fun at the same time.  With the assistance of some of the foremost doctors, pediatricians and nutritionists in the field of childhood obesity, she formulated an FDA-approved multivitamin line, protein shakes, nutrition bars and meal plans for children as young as 5 years old.  Her programs aren’t designed to turn a child into body builders, but to get them fit and healthy. She focuses on providing educational material and a place where children can strengthen themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually while learning self-confidence and personal motivation. The goal is to teach and instill in children healthy lifestyle skills that can be carried on into their adulthood.

Kathy Ireland, former fitness model interviewed Ms. Cortiella personally on her CBS TV Show, on January 17th 2017 at her studio in Los Angeles, CA. Ms. Cortiella also has been praised by many celebrities, presidents, TV stars and royal family members. She’s won awards from Disney, the University of Miami and nominated to be one of the most powerful women in the state of Florida in 2011. Ms. Cortiella hopes that together they can make a difference and change this epidemic that is slowly destroying our future generation. Her vision is for children and parents to have access to her all after-school fitness programs throughout the nation where parents and children can get the guided help and education they need to transform their lives – teaching them how to exercise and make healthy fun meals they will enjoy eating.

Ms. Cortiella, along with her passion, dedication and the heart she wears on her sleeve, has transformed hundreds of kids and she will not “Stop” until she abolishes this deadly epidemic of childhood obesity. Her commitment to transforming children and building up their confidence is inspiring.

Ivette Cortiella needs your support and guidance in how we can come together and bring into being these fitness life changing programs into locations near you. Weather we build a gym in a room inside a school or bring a mobile gym to the area, we can make that happen. We all need to come together and battle this worldwide epidemic that is slowly destroying our future generation. Meltdown Station has the solution, all we need is to count on you to start and make a difference not only in your community, but in your heart.
