Raphael Toledano Giving Announces First Annual Academic Scholarship
Lawrence, NY – July 27, 2022 – Raphael Toledano Giving is excited to announce the launch of its first annual academic scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one deserving student for the 2023-2024 school year.
This scholarship is open to all high school seniors and current college students who are United States citizens. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to giving back to their community and be confirmed and enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program by the scholarship deadline.
To apply, applicants must write a response of up to 500 words on the following prompt: “What is your area of study, and what do you plan to do with it in the future?”
The deadline for the scholarship is March 31, 2023.
About The Scholarship
Raphael Toledano Giving was founded in 2022 to encourage students to pursue higher education. The foundation awards this annual scholarship to those currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate or graduate students in the U.S.
Raphael “Rafi” Toledano wants to recognize outstanding students each year and provide them with the resources needed to advance in their disciplines, ultimately helping them pursue their dream careers.

Undeterred by his lack of real estate knowledge, the crisis which gripped the world, or the fact that he did not have any money to sustain himself, Rafi’s will to succeed broke through all barriers enabling him to overcome such immense hurdles.
Although doors were closed to new hires given the economic climate, Rafi found himself a home at a small firm that focused only on residential rentals and sales, Weissman Real Estate, in Lawrence, NY.
Success breeds success and going out on his own allowed him to hire salespersons. Rafi had managed to crawl his way into starting his firm and had garnered the capital to begin changing his life and the lives of others around him.
Now, despite Rafi never receiving a university education himself, he is foraying into the world of academic giving. He understands his journey to success is unique and that it is unlikely to be replicated.
