Up-and-coming gaming influencer SmonioUwU is on track to become one of the top Vtubers this year as he brings the ultimate entertaining content from playing some of the most anticipated games of 2022.

VTubers, or Virtual Youtubers, are a subset of virtual influencers. They are social media personalities who create content as 2D or 3D characters.

SmonioUwU, who likes to go by the name Ellie, is a 19-year-old Vtuber from the United States. While he is new to streaming, he is already making a name for himself as a fantastic streamer.

“I like to stream a variety of games. My goal is to grow a community so cute that anyone can feel like they can be themselves,” says the young streamer, who describes himself as a musician Vtuber, who likes Huggies and is LineChu’s evil twin. SmonioUwU says he tries to stream every Monday and Friday at 5 pm EST. 

SwonioUwU says he very much enjoys the creative freedom he gets from VTubing and the number of genres in this category, as well as doing certain content he may not usually push or even be able to achieve as his IRL self.

“It’s also both very creative and convenient for me. It’s an impressive medium that allows me to bypass some stuff, like a home studio setup, and instead of getting in front of the camera,” says SmonioUwU.

As a growing Vtuber, SmonioUwU is a highly followed and proud Femboy who likes to make Dead By Daylight or (DBD) content. DBD is a multiplayer horror and action game where one ruthless Killer hunts down four Survivors attempting to dodge a gruesome death. Survivors play in the third-person and have the edge of better situational grasp. The Killer plays in first-person and is more tunneled into their prey. The Survivors’ objective in every encounter is to flee from the entity (the overarching puppet master) without getting captured by the Killer – something that sounds easier than it is, notably when the location is changed each time the players play.

SmonioUwU recently posted about his meetup with cool Vtubers and influencers, where he also praised his newfound friends’ cosplay and performances during the event. 

“This has been one of the best adventures I went on! I hope we can get partner for the next one. Thanks for saying ‘Hi’ when you guys found me,” he posted. SmonioUwU is becoming a highly regarded personality at TwitchCon, a yearly convention for the live-streaming video platform Twitch. The convention is organized by Twitch Interactive and concentrates on the culture of live streaming and video gaming.
