The forward thinking company recently hit the road, traveling 1,100 miles from their flagship location in Savannah, Georgia to bring the future of work to SXSW in Austin, Texas. But, even for a space that has all the bells and whistles, this fast growing productivity brand continues to break new barriers by taking innovation to another level. Their 360 degree exhibit at SXSW called “VEL GO” housed brand new tech and ergonomic products that VEL will soon be implementing in their flagship work cafe along with their current advanced features and amenities. The company’s latest partnership with Haworth, an award winning furniture company, also made its big reveal at the Texas conference. The collaboration between companies did not disappoint either, as hundreds began trickling in to visit or “play” in their interactive exhibit.
“VEL GO” showcases the amenities, state of the art work stations, performance enhancing specialty beverages and advanced technologies available now at VEL Savannah; Plus, a sneak peak of what’s to come for their flagship VELLERS. The stunning exhibit includes the following. Collaboration Table: Featuring a spacious four top table setup for gathering teams to create, collaborate and innovate.
A Coffee Bar: Featuring a performance enhancing menu selection served complimentary to order; As well as, nootropic infused specialty samples and mushroom tea cookies.
Nest Seat Area: Featuring productivity grade lighting, stress reducing gravity blankets, mood boosting music, sound absorbing fabric panels, ergonomic comfort for relaxation and the company’s latest addition, the duo nest seat for coworking.
Think Spaces: Featuring Haworth Hush Hybrid Office Pods. A noise reducing, sound absorbing, ergonomically intimate Think Space lined with acoustic fabric panels. Perfect for meetings, uninterrupted work or maximizing flowstate. Immersed in the fresh fragrance of Palo Santo to encourage memory, and coupled with individual temperature grade lighting and climate controls for premium comfort and optimum productivity.
Iris the Robot: Featuring the intelligent coffee and food serving robot named “Iris”. The bot is programmed to serve food and coffee to VEL customer’s. Iris also has motion sensors that allow it to maneuver around obstacles and even talk to their patrons.
SXSW will not be the last conference that “VEL GO” will be featured in. Exhibitors can expect to see their “future of work” model and 360 degree exhibit at Emerge Americas in Miami and ICSC in Las Vegas this year as well. VEL has also announced their expansion into the South and will be opening new premium work cafe locations in Charlotte, Nashville and Charleston before the end of 2023.
