Ajani Windsor-Areago, a venture capitalist, announces the launch of his startup advisory firm, White Umbrella Ventures. Based in Los Angeles and San Francisco, White Umbrella Ventures helps grow startups by offering support from fundraising-as-a-service to marketing, advisory and sales.
After working in the venture capital (VC) industry for over a decade, including serving as Head of North America and Venture Partner, Windsor-Areago noticed startup founders often do not know how best to work with VCs or what VC managers are looking for. To change that, White Umbrella Ventures provides startups with one-on-one support to help with infrastructure development and growth across pre-seed and seed investment, internal and customer-facing marketing and revenue generation.
“We believe founders are the engine of the startup world and our goal is not only to advise but also to invest in companies with traction and a reasonable valuation,” says Ajani Windsor-Areago, Founder of White Umbrella Ventures. “Our team sees a lot of opportunities in Clean-Tech, Biotech and emerging markets like Kenya, Uganda, Morocco and Rwanda.
