Mahan Esmaili Unveils New Track “Wounded Heart” Paying Tribute to Musical Influences
Rising music star Mahan Esmaili has released his much-anticipated new single “Wounded Heart.” The song showcases the artist’s emotional depth and musical versatility. Teaming up with songwriter Kiana Nateghi, melody composer Sina Derakhshandeh, and arranger Behtash Zarin, the new track provides a gripping auditory experience. The mix and mastering for “Wounded Heart” were expertly handled by Reza Pour Razavi, and the recording took place at Ofogh Studio.
Mahan Esmaili took some time to reflect on his journey into music, tracing back his inspiration to the late 70s around 1378 in the Iranian calendar. “I got into music through my admiration for the works of the late Babak Bayat,” Mahan shared. “His compositions were my entry point into the world of music, motivating me to pick up the guitar and begin my musical career under the guidance of Amir Gholami.”
In 1385, he transitioned to singing under the mentorship of Dr. Shams Niknam. “My professional singing career took a significant turn when I participated in various research performances and even performed at the Milad Tower. I also had the privilege to gain experience from Morteza Lotfi,” said Mahan.
“Wounded Heart” is the latest addition to Mahan Esmaili’s discography, which already includes tracks such as “Loneliness,” “The Reality of Dream,” and “Close Your Eyes.” Each song reflects a facet of Mahan’s talent and showcases his ability to tap into the emotional core of his listeners.
