Jacquie Joy Music Secures 3 Award Wins in the 2023 Vega Digital Awards: Season 2
New York, New York – 27th November, 2023 – The Vega Digital Awards has wrapped up its second season of competition in 2023 and has announced its full list of winners, recognizing digital media excellence worldwide. The competition received over 1,000 submissions from 24 different countries, spanning a diverse array of categories. This remarkable response underscores the awards’ enduring reputation for honoring excellence over the years.
In this season, Jacquie Joy has been honored with 3 awards.
Firstly, Jacquie received the Gold award for her submitted work in the online video category, an original music soundtrack created for “Mountain View Pictures”. This award winning soundtrack was created for the indie dystopian featurette film “The Rogue Barrens”. Thomas Rex from Mountain View Pictures was very excited about receiving the soundtrack award for his film and commented, “The Gold Vega award is a testament to Jacquie’s great skill as a composer. Glad to have had a chance to work with her on it”.
Secondly, another Gold award was awarded for her submitted work in the online video category, an original music soundtrack created for “GP2 Entertainment”. This award-winning soundtrack was created for the pilot episode of the drama crime web series “Diana”. This soundtrack has been recognised previously and was nominated in 2022 for a Hollywood Music in Media award. It also recently won a Silver Davey award.
Finally, she received a Silver award for her submitted work in the audio & radio category, an original music track created for “Door 4 Films”. This award-winning music track was created for the (soon to be released) indie horror film “On Witches Blood”. Susan Bohl from Door4Films was “beyond thrilled about receiving the Vega award for music from her upcoming film and commented, “This is fantastic news, and your work on On Witches Blood has been phenomenal”.
The Vega Digital Awards, hosted and organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA), celebrates digital content creators who push boundaries in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
“The caliber of competition witnessed in this year’s Vega Digital Awards is genuinely awe-inspiring. The submissions we have received represent the pinnacle of excellence within the digital media industry,” remarked Thomas Brandt, the spokesperson for IAA.
